[stage 11] Use Sixel or Similar for Compatible Terminal Emulators

Some terminal emulators are capable of showing bitmap images directly inside the terminal. One popular way of doing it is by using Sixel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixel), which can be used to show animations. This step is about integrating a Sixel or an equivalent feature to display the video of A/V calls directly in the terminal.

Milestone(s)

  • Implement Sixel or equivalent technology

  • when a compatible terminal is detected, the video output should be by default on Sixel (with options to use GUI)

  • documentation
