Exit command mode on backspace

In Vim, when you erase the ':' of the line in command mode, it switches back to regular mode (or whatever the name is, I mean the non-edition mode in which you can use shortcuts such as dd, etc.). In Primitivus, this doesn't work and you have to press Escape to switch back to regular mode, which is not intuitive.
